This is how you can switch shaft lengths for different boats. Converting a motor is reversible.

For standard motors that use a transom clamp for mounting, here are the sizes available…
- Short shaft for transoms 13″ to 17″
- Long shaft for transoms 17″ to 22″
- Mini shaft lengths under 13″ for low-transom dinghies like the True Kit Tactician.
