EP Carry Outboard Package — Old Salt Edition

Custom-engineered specifically for the Old Salt boat kit, this is the propulsion setup featured on Old Salt #1 at the 2026 Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival.

What’s Included:

  • Mini-shaft EP Carry electric outboard

  • Clamp-on transom mount

  • Remote throttle (includes 9 ft of cable)

  • Integrated rope-pull steering and tilt mechanism

  • 3 ft battery power cable

Performance & Battery Spec:

  • Recommended Battery: 24V 50Ah LFP battery (~$300, customer-supplied). Fits comfortably inside the seat box or adjacent motor well. (Compatible with 12V, 24V, or 36V systems).

  • Cruising Speed: 3.7 knots at ~10A draw (250W-270W continuous).

  • Expected Range: 18–20 nautical miles at full power on a 24V 50Ah battery.
