Throttle Replacement Kit

Note that this kit cannot be used with a replaceable tiller arm motor. For gen 2 motors, see our replaceable tiller arm.

This is a replacement throttle kit for use when indicated by our troubleshooting guide. It is also necessary should your throttle break free from the tiller tube. This kit uses an updated cross-screw that improves the throttle-tiller connection. Kit includes the throttle base with electronics potted in epoxy, a new throttle knob, throttle screw, silicone grease, glue-lined heat shrink to secure and seal the connector and instructions. A T-20 torx bit and a hair-drier or lighter are required. Older motors without the cross-screw securing hole also require a 1/8″ hole in the tiller tube for installation.
