Older EP Carry motors, batteries and chargers have a 3-pin connector format that has now been replaced with a 2-pin style. Because we can no longer obtain 3-pin replacement cords, this kit is required if your battery cord needs replacing.
Includes a motor connector, battery cord connector and a charger adapter.
Installation:
Motor and battery cord connections require soldering. Once the old connectors are removed, you will see white, red and black wires. White wires can be cut down to the remaining outer sheath and left un-connected. Red wires go to pins labeled 1 and black wires to pins labeled 2. Remember to position end fittings before soldering.
Your EP Carry motor is protected from reverse connections. If the motor does not run, double check your connection polarity. If the motor runs after connecting, than the connector is poled correctly. Our smaller charger for 1-hr batteries is not protected from reverse connections; it will fail if reverse connected. For this reason, check operation with the motor first.
The charger adapter is plug and play with our smaller connector for 1-hr chargers.
